The Cessna 152 Aerobat
One of the most popular aerobatic trainers would have to be the Cessna 152 Aerobat.
You may have seen ZK-MUM at past Tauranga Airshows where Phil Hooker puts the aircraft through an aerobatic display with its engine shut down and this is all the way down to landing.
Following more years of training the tired old Cessna had seen its better days, it is a 1980 model but due to their popularity of the type it is to be restored back to flying condition to fly for decades to come.
It may look in a bit of a state now but be sure to follow this page as we bring this aircraft back to life!
